Prestige Bodywork London Limited (company number 15118325) is generally the data controller for information you submit directly through this website or give to our team. An insurer or another repair partner may be a separate controller for the information it receives and should provide its own privacy information.

The information depends on the service you use. Please do not send information that is not relevant to your request.
Your name, email address, telephone number and preferred contact method.
Registration number, make, model, year, damage details, whether the vehicle is driveable, insurer and any claim reference you choose to provide.
Messages, photographs and other information you send when contacting us, requesting a quote, starting an insurance repair or asking about an existing claim.
Submission identifiers and browser, device or network signals used to operate the forms, prevent abuse and protect the service. Rate limiting uses a pseudonymous keyed hash derived from an IP address; infrastructure providers may also hold security logs.
Contract or steps you ask us to take before entering a contract. Where that does not fit, such as some insurer or business enquiries, our legitimate interests in handling the enquiry and administering our services may apply.
Contract or pre-contract steps, and our legitimate interests in delivering and documenting the repair. The insurer or another partner may have its own lawful basis for its processing.
Our legitimate interests in maintaining a secure, reliable website and preventing fraud or abuse.
Contract, our legitimate interests in running and defending the business, or a legal obligation where a specific law requires us to keep or disclose information.
When you look up a registration, the registration number is sent securely to Check Car Details. It returns available vehicle facts such as make, model, derivative, body style, colour, fuel type, engine capacity and year. We use these facts to help complete the quote form; our team may still need to verify them.
A successful result is treated as usable for 24 hours. It then expires and is marked or scheduled for deletion. Deletion runs asynchronously, so physical removal may follow during a short technical grace period. Short-lived unsuccessful results may also be cached to protect the service and avoid repeated supplier calls.
Temporary contact, quote and insurance-enquiry records are staged privately so a submission can be delivered or retried. Incomplete uploads expire after 24 hours. Staging records and photos for a successful delivery are purged after a further 24-hour recovery window. If delivery needs human support, they are scheduled for the same private purge 30 days after entering review; a failed cleanup is retried. The copy delivered to our business systems is retained separately under the purposes below.
We retain enquiry, quote, claim and repair records only for as long as reasonably needed to answer you, provide the service, administer a repair, deal with a warranty or complaint, satisfy accounting or regulatory duties, or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We then delete or anonymise them where practical.
We limit disclosure to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose. We do not sell personal information.
Receives the registration number when you use vehicle lookup and returns vehicle information used to help complete the quote form.
Provides cloud functions, database and file storage used for form delivery and temporary staging. Firebase App Check and reCAPTCHA Enterprise help protect the forms and may process device and network signals.
Receives website contact, private-repair and insurance enquiries so our team can process and follow up each request.
Carry text-only form notifications and business correspondence to the Prestige team. Original website photo uploads are not attached to notification emails.
We share relevant information with insurers and, where needed, recovery, parts, repair, calibration or other specialist partners to assess, authorise or complete work.
Information may be disclosed to professional advisers, courts, regulators, law enforcement or other authorities where necessary for legal duties or claims.
Some suppliers may process or permit access to information outside the UK. Where that is a restricted transfer, we use an applicable UK adequacy regulation, appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum, or another permitted mechanism. Contact us if you would like information about safeguards relevant to your personal information.
We do not use the website information to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Registration lookup helps fill in vehicle details, and automated security controls help protect the service; neither decides whether we accept a repair or what final price you receive.
Your rights depend on the information and the lawful basis being used. We may ask for enough information to verify your identity before responding.
You may object where we rely on legitimate interests. Tell us your circumstances and we will consider whether there are compelling reasons to continue.
To exercise a right, email info@pbwl.uk. You can also raise a concern with us first, or complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. The ICO explains your rights and complaint process on its official website.
Contact us using the details above if you have a privacy question. We may update this notice when our services, suppliers or legal duties change; the review date at the top will show when it was last checked.
